Privacy Policy

This explains what bookforms collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
bookforms (bookforms.net) is an online booking page service. Businesses (“owners”) use it to take bookings from their clients. Contact us at support@bookforms.net.
What we collect from owners
Your business name, email, a scrambled (hashed) password, and what you add to your page: services, opening hours, team members or courts, photos and settings. If you subscribe, PayPal handles your payment details; we only receive your subscription status and dates.
What we collect from clients who book
The name, email, optional phone number and notes you enter when you book, and the booking itself. This is shared with the business you booked with, who uses it to run your appointment.
How it’s used
To show booking pages, take and manage bookings, and send booking emails and phone notifications. We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Who else handles it
Resend (to send emails), PayPal (for subscription payments), and our hosting provider. If an owner connects Google, we read their Google Business Profile reviews with their permission. Each handles data only to provide its service.
Cookies
One cookie keeps owners logged in, and one remembers your bookings list view. No tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
Owner data is kept while the account exists and is deleted when the owner deletes their account (from Settings). Bookings are kept by the business for its records; ask the business, or us, to have yours removed.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how it’s used. Owners can do most of this from Settings. Anyone can email us. If you’re in the Philippines, you also have rights under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and may complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Security
Pages are served over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and access to data is limited to what each part of the service needs. No system is perfect; if something goes wrong that affects you, we’ll tell you.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date below and tell owners by email.
